Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement the server-side application logic for games.

• Enhance software applications utilizing cutting-edge development infrastructure and methodologies, including Ruby 3.

• Create software analytics and observability solutions.

• Ensure the maintenance of automated tests.

• Perform unit testing and conduct code reviews.

• Refactor existing source code.

• Evaluate and enhance software performance.

• Write and document code that aligns with project standards and fulfills desired functionalities.

• Integrate new technologies and knowledge to advance documentation practices, scalability, testing methods, and refactoring.

• Collaborate with a diverse, remote-first team to develop slot games that are released biweekly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced in software development.

• Background in the iGaming industry is preferred.

• Proficient in Ruby.

• Familiarity with C/C++, Rust, or GO Lang is advantageous.

• Basic understanding of Linux-based operating systems.

• Basic knowledge of command line operations and Git Version Control System.

• Fundamental knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Eagerness to learn and work with emerging technologies, including gRPC, GraphQL, and GO Lang.

• Exceptional written communication and documentation skills in English.

• Open and persuasive communication style, capable of conveying complex issues and intricate relationships.

• Must reside within the European time zone (+/- 2 hours).
