Senior Software Engineer – React Native

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance top-notch mobile experiences utilizing React Native and TypeScript across various Kraken products.

• Take charge of projects from start to finish, ensuring clarity in requirements and stakeholder alignment through implementation, release, and post-launch iterations.

• Develop support functionalities such as in-product messaging, chat interfaces, content delivery, banners, modals, and voice-call features.

• Tailor solutions to meet the performance, design, reliability, and maintainability requirements of each product.

• Work collaboratively with Product, Design, mobile, web, and backend teams.

• Navigate uncertainties and propel initiatives forward.

• Produce clean, thoroughly tested code.

• Engage in technical design discussions, conduct code reviews, and participate in mobile release processes.

• Contribute to real-time functionalities using APIs and WebSockets.

• Assist in enhancing shared architecture, components, and development practices across both web and mobile contributions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software development.

• Practical experience in developing and launching mobile applications with React Native.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Familiarity with React and contemporary frontend development methodologies.

• Proven ability to manage projects or mobile releases from initial specifications to production rollout.

• Experience with APIs, frontend testing, mobile performance, and modern build and deployment pipelines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong technical judgment and meticulous attention to detail.

• Experience in native iOS or Android development using Swift or Kotlin is a plus.

• Knowledge of Node.js or backend systems is advantageous.

• Familiarity with WebSockets, live messaging, or asynchronous architectures is a plus.

• Experience with customer-support platforms or tools related to customer experience and APIs is beneficial.

• Experience managing iOS and Android build, deployment, and release processes is a plus.

• Working knowledge of Rust, Go, or C++ is advantageous.

• Experience across multiple products or teams within a large tech organization is a plus.

• Previous experience in crypto, fintech, consumer finance, or other highly regulated product environments is a plus.
