Senior Software Engineer – Patient Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design a high-throughput, distributed platform that serves as the definitive source for patient data.

• Lead the technical strategy to re-engineer core backend data systems to enhance scalability, resilience, and fault tolerance.

• Address challenges associated with distributed systems, focusing on performance, uptime, and data integrity.

• Make zero-to-one architectural decisions during a period of significant growth.

• Serve as a technical leader and multiplier for the engineering team.

• Create foundational infrastructure.

• Provide mentorship to engineers.

• Establish rigorous operational standards.

• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams on the engineering roadmap and product vision.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant professional experience.

• Proven experience in building distributed and event-driven systems.

• Familiarity with microservice development.

• Experience working within cross-functional teams to connect technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and frameworks.

• Capability to utilize AI-assisted coding tools while ensuring quality standards are met.

• Experience in mentoring others, reviewing architectural designs, and establishing design patterns.

• Must reside in the United States; currently, we are not hiring in Hawaii.
