Senior Software Engineer – .Net, Azure Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of intricate applications utilizing .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET 6+/Core)

• Architect and deploy cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure, encompassing App Services, Functions, AKS, Service Bus, SQL, Storage, and Key Vault

• Design, execute, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps

• Advocate for DevOps best practices across various teams

• Offer technical leadership through design assessments, code evaluations, and architectural direction

• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to convert business needs into technical solutions

• Maintain high standards for code quality, security, performance, reliability, and observability

• Lead the resolution of complex production issues, driving root cause analysis and corrective action

• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers

• Participate in recruiting and onboarding processes

• Continuously enhance engineering practices, tools, and delivery methodologies

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET)

• Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure

• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (repositories, pipelines, releases, work item integration)

• Strong background in distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and microservices architectures

• Comprehensive knowledge of relational databases (Azure SQL/SQL Server) and data access patterns (Entity Framework, Dapper)

• Profound understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices (SOLID, clean architecture, automated testing, CI/CD)

• Experience in leading technical initiatives or serving as a technical owner/lead on projects

• Familiarity with Agile/Kanban methodologies

• Preferred experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, AKS/Kubernetes)

• Preferred knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM templates, Terraform)

• Preferred experience with event-driven architectures (Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hubs)

• Preferred knowledge of security and compliance in cloud environments

• Preferred skills in observability and monitoring (Application Insights, Azure Monitor)

• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-204, AZ-305) are a plus

• Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus
