Senior Software Engineer – .NET, Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Create software with a primary emphasis on backend development

• Design and implement RESTful APIs

• Construct and oversee microservices and distributed systems

• Create cloud-based applications utilizing Microsoft Azure

• Employ Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines

• Adhere to contemporary Git-based software development practices

• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes

• Work with SQL / SQL Server and relational database systems

• Develop and sustain automated testing processes

• Operate within Agile development frameworks

• Assist in front-end development using Angular, React, or Vue.js

• Engage regularly with Spanish-speaking colleagues

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, focusing on backend development

• Extensive hands-on experience with C# / .NET / .NET Core / .NET 6+

• Strong background in designing and developing RESTful APIs

• Proven expertise in microservices and distributed system architecture

• Significant experience with Microsoft Azure and developing cloud-based applications

• Practical knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines

• Solid understanding of Git and modern software development workflows

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes

• Good grasp of SQL / SQL Server and relational database technologies

• Experience in implementing and maintaining automated testing frameworks

• Background in Agile development environments

• Some experience with front-end development in Angular, React, or Vue.js

• Proficient in Spanish

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken

• Must currently reside in Portugal

• Knowledge of Azure Functions

• Familiarity with Azure Service Bus

• Experience with Azure Event Hubs

• Understanding of Azure Container Apps

• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

• Knowledge of Azure Storage

• Familiarity with Application Insights

• Understanding of Azure Monitoring & Observability
