This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Gain insights into users' challenges.

• Develop code that addresses users' needs.

• Engage in communication with users and team members.

• Evaluate code produced by fellow team members.

• Focus on continuous improvement of code quality and personal coding skills.

• Function both independently and as part of a team, including collaborative coding sessions.

• Visit company sites to gain a deeper understanding of operational processes.

• Mentor junior software engineers to enhance their skills.

• Oversee and nurture the growth of junior and software engineers within the team.

• Establish a software engineering function from the ground up with a strong emphasis on product development.

• Operate within a DevOps culture as a full-stack engineer.

• Prior experience in the industry.

• Proficiency in coding with any programming language.

• Acquaintance with a version control system.

• Previous industry engagement.

• Interest in product management.

• Strong technical communication abilities.

• Understanding of foundational computer science concepts.

• Experience in a DevOps environment.

• Ideally, possess management experience.

• Ideally, familiarity with the technologies used in the company's tech stack.

• Capability to work independently and collaboratively, including in pair programming.

• Skill in managing and developing junior and software engineers.
