
Senior Software Engineer β Mission Autonomy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Develop and integrate a semantic scene graph world model to facilitate real-time spatial reasoning, context-aware mission planning, and natural language-driven robotic navigation.
β’ Design and implement API frameworks that allow Large Language Models to interact with robotic autonomy stacks.
β’ Enable mission execution based on language inputs and manage feedback effectively.
β’ Sustain and enhance robotics testing frameworks.
β’ Create unit and integration tests to ensure reliability, safety, and performance of the system.
β’ Design and implement intelligent decision-making frameworks for sophisticated robotic and AI systems.
β’ Propel autonomous robotic platforms and deliver AI-driven solutions to clients.
β’ PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline.
β’ Advanced expertise in Python programming, C++, ROS, Linux, and Git.
β’ Over 5 years of experience with product-level AI software, including state machines and behavior trees.
β’ Capability to communicate effectively and efficiently with all teams.
β’ Strong problem-solving abilities and a proven track record of navigating complex software systems.
β’ High self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
β’ Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
β’ Experience with simulation environments such as Gazebo or Isaac Sim (preferred/sets you apart).
β’ Experience with LLM-based decision-making frameworks in robotic systems (preferred/sets you apart).
