Senior Software Engineer – Mission Autonomy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop and integrate a semantic scene graph world model to facilitate real-time spatial reasoning, context-aware mission planning, and natural language-driven robotic navigation.

• Design and implement API frameworks that allow Large Language Models to interact with robotic autonomy stacks.

• Enable mission execution based on language inputs and manage feedback effectively.

• Sustain and enhance robotics testing frameworks.

• Create unit and integration tests to ensure reliability, safety, and performance of the system.

• Design and implement intelligent decision-making frameworks for sophisticated robotic and AI systems.

• Propel autonomous robotic platforms and deliver AI-driven solutions to clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Advanced expertise in Python programming, C++, ROS, Linux, and Git.

• Over 5 years of experience with product-level AI software, including state machines and behavior trees.

• Capability to communicate effectively and efficiently with all teams.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proven track record of navigating complex software systems.

• High self-motivation and a strong work ethic.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

• Experience with simulation environments such as Gazebo or Isaac Sim (preferred/sets you apart).

• Experience with LLM-based decision-making frameworks in robotic systems (preferred/sets you apart).
