Senior Software Engineer – Java, Spring Boot

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and operate backend solutions using Java.

• Work on microservices architectures.

• Integrate messaging and asynchronous communication between applications.

• Implement best practices for resilience, including idempotency, circuit breaker, retries, and CQRS.

• Utilize AWS and NoSQL technologies.

• Incorporate AI into daily tasks.

• Participate in the evolution and operation of backend solutions within a complex fintech environment.

• Collaborate with an international team and technical partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience working with Java.

• Experience in deploying, monitoring, and operating applications in production environments.

• Strong background in microservices, idempotency, circuit breaker, retries, and CQRS.

• Experience with messaging and asynchronous communication between applications, ideally with Kafka and partition key management.

• Experience working with NoSQL technologies.

• Knowledge and experience with AWS.

• Experience in fintech business processes.

• Willingness and experience in incorporating AI into daily tasks.

• A completed university degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent fields.

• Fluent conversational English proficiency.

• Residency in Argentina or Uruguay.

• Desirable: Knowledge of Golang.

• Desirable: Clear understanding of the difference between queue and topic.

• Desirable: Ability to read and interpret explain results.
