Senior Software Engineer, Interoperability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Streamline the complexities of healthcare by creating systems that enhance human efforts.

• Design and maintain production software that adheres to healthcare interoperability standards like FHIR and HL7.

• Develop and test APIs, services, and data pipelines utilizing FHIR resources and HL7 messages.

• Convert standards and implementation guides into code, data models, validation logic, and automated testing.

• Ensure the preservation of clinical meaning and data quality as information transitions between systems.

• Continuously learn and adopt new tools and technologies.

• Assist in defining and upholding development practices, which include writing tests and documenting essential implementations.

• Collaborate with Product Managers and operational teams to innovate new features.

• Work in tandem with engineers, data scientists, and healthcare professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in constructing production software utilizing FHIR and HL7.

• Over 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.

• Proficiency in Python, Javascript, or Go.

• Experience in writing SQL queries for Postgres, MySQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, or other database systems.

• Familiarity with data cleaning, normalization, and enhancement of data quality.

• Capability to create and utilize RESTful APIs.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.

• Familiarity with gRPC is a plus.
