Senior Software Engineer – Golang, TypeScript, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance microservices in Golang as well as frontend applications.

• Create high-performance customer interfaces that are guided by the design system.

• Take complete ownership of features from the ideation phase through to production.

• Contribute to the technical strategy and effectively communicate architectural decisions.

• Enhance the performance and observability of services and applications.

• Improve the quality of life for the team and business through automation, process enhancements, or the adoption of new technologies.

• Collect, process, and verify extensive amounts of financial data related to cross-border payments.

• Provide financial data to users to support informed business decisions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and the immediate technical team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in writing Golang services and backend web applications.

• Familiarity with deploying applications within Docker containers.

• Experience in building component-based frontends using React and TypeScript.

• Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries.

• Understanding of clean coding principles along with TypeScript and Go idioms.

• Capability to review code and set quality standards for the team.

• Willingness to learn and engage with a new business domain and product.

• Ability to convey complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Capacity to discuss personal learning and skills enhancement strategies.

• Experience with concurrent logic applications, such as goroutines, is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitLab CI, is beneficial but not required.

• Familiarity with configuring and utilizing observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana is a plus but not essential.

• Experience with AI to boost productivity and efficiency, as well as productionized AI tools, is a plus but not essential.

• Knowledge of MaterialUI, Airflow, Python, or Terraform is advantageous but not required.

• Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST/EDT.

• Willingness to provide on-call support as needed.
