Senior Software Engineer – Golang, TypeScript, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance microservices in Golang as well as frontend applications.

• Create high-performing customer interfaces that are driven by the design system.

• Assume full responsibility for features from conception to production.

• Contribute to the technical strategy and communicate architectural decisions effectively.

• Enhance the performance and observability of services and applications.

• Elevate the quality of life for the team and business through automation, process enhancements, or new technologies.

• Collect, process, validate, and deliver extensive amounts of financial data related to cross-border payments.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and work alongside a technical team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in senior-level software engineering.

• Proficient in writing Golang services and developing web application backends.

• Skilled in deploying applications using Docker containers.

• Capable of building componentized frontends utilizing React/TypeScript.

• Competent in writing efficient SQL queries.

• Familiar with clean code principles and idioms of TypeScript and Go.

• Experienced in reviewing code and establishing quality standards within the team.

• Eager to learn and engage with a new business domain and product.

• Effective in communicating complex subjects to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Background or interest in AI technologies is a plus.

• Additional but not essential skills: knowledge of concurrent logic/goroutines, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Prometheus, Grafana, production-ready AI tools, MaterialUI, Airflow, Python, or Terraform.
