Senior Software Engineer – Golang, TypeScript, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance microservices and frontend applications using Golang.

• Deliver high-performing, design-system-driven interfaces for end-users.

• Take ownership of features from the ideation stage all the way through to production.

• Contribute to the technical strategy and articulate architectural decisions clearly.

• Enhance the performance and observability of both services and applications.

• Improve the quality of life for the team and the business through automation, process enhancements, or new technologies.

• Collect, process, verify, and serve extensive amounts of financial data related to cross-border payments.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and within the immediate technical team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive software engineering experience at a senior level.

• Proficiency in writing Golang services and web application backends, deploying them in Docker containers.

• Capability to build componentized frontend applications using React/TypeScript.

• Skill in writing efficient SQL queries.

• Comprehension of clean coding principles, along with TypeScript and Go idioms.

• Experience in code review and setting quality standards for the team.

• Willingness to learn and engage with a new business domain and product.

• Ability to communicate complex subjects effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Capacity to articulate your learning process and skill enhancement.

• Familiarity with concurrent logic applications, CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, AI tools, MaterialUI, Airflow, Python, or Terraform is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Must be available to work during US Eastern Time (GMT-4/GMT-5) hours.
