Senior Software Engineer, Golang

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and execute high-impact, intricate solutions.

• Direct the design and advancement of distributed systems architectures, emphasizing the scalability and robustness of authorization pipelines.

• Act as a technical reference and guide various workstreams.

• Oversee the management of critical incidents, conduct war room sessions, and lead post-mortem analyses.

• Maintain a balance between developing new solutions and modernizing legacy systems.

• Utilize observability tools to assess application health, identify bottlenecks, and analyze behavior.

• Ensure software quality by adhering to strong architectural standards, implementing automated testing, and managing CI/CD pipelines.

• Tackle open-ended challenges and devise complex end-to-end solutions.

• Mentor junior and mid-level developers through pair programming and code reviews.

• Investigate and address critical systemic incidents and highly complex issues.

• Design and implement architectures based on Hexagonal Architecture, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles.

• Make independent technical decisions based on business considerations and technology trade-offs.

• Continuously enhance infrastructure and delivery processes by configuring and optimizing deployment pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of proven, relevant professional experience in software development and designing high-volume distributed systems.

• Extensive experience and proficiency in Golang, with the ability to guide technical decisions.

• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, including data modeling and query optimization (DML, DDL, and DQL).

• Proficient in event-driven architectures utilizing Kafka and AWS SQS.

• Solid experience with the AWS ecosystem.

• Proficient in orchestrating containers using Kubernetes and Docker.

• Advanced, hands-on experience with Datadog, OpenTelemetry, and Prometheus, covering logging, profiling, tracing, and metrics.

• Practical experience with Git/GitHub.

• Experience in configuring pipelines with GitHub Actions.

• Strong understanding of Hexagonal Architecture and event-driven architecture (SAGA).

• Experience with Elixir and RabbitMQ, financial market expertise, and PostgreSQL optimization are considered advantages.

• Proficiency in technical English is a plus.
