Senior Software Engineer – Golang

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and advancement of distributed systems architectures, emphasizing the scalability and resilience of authorization pipelines.

• Act as a technical reference for managing critical incidents, coordinating War Rooms, and conducting post-mortems.

• Balance the creation of new solutions with the upkeep and modernization of legacy systems.

• Utilize observability tools to monitor application health, identify bottlenecks, and analyze behavior.

• Ensure technical excellence through adherence to architectural standards, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Provide technical leadership across workstreams and design intricate end-to-end solutions.

• Engage in technical mentoring, pair programming, and code reviews.

• Investigate highly complex systemic issues and spearhead the resolution of critical incidents.

• Design and implement architectures based on Hexagonal Architecture, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles.

• Make independent architecture and code design decisions informed by business and technology trade-offs.

• Continuously enhance infrastructure and delivery processes by configuring and optimizing deployment pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrable, relevant professional experience in software development and the design of high-volume distributed systems.

• Extensive hands-on experience and proficiency in Golang, with the ability to guide technical decisions.

• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, including query modeling and optimization (DML, DDL, and DQL).

• Proficient in event-driven architectures utilizing Kafka and AWS SQS.

• Proven experience within the AWS ecosystem.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.

• Advanced hands-on experience with Datadog, OpenTelemetry, and Prometheus, covering logging, profiling, tracing, and metrics.

• Practical experience using Git/GitHub.

• Experience with GitHub Actions.

• Strong understanding of Hexagonal Architecture and Event-Driven Architecture (SAGA).
