Senior Software Engineer – Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and execute scalable and efficient solutions.

• Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders across Aledade to design and implement technical roadmaps utilizing Agile methodologies.

• Guide and mentor junior engineers through comprehensive pull request reviews while also being receptive to constructive criticism regarding your own contributions.

• Develop innovative full-stack applications that integrate Aledade’s point-of-care insights with partner practices’ EHR systems.

• Engage with interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7.

• Construct Chromium-based overlay applications that are compatible with both browser-based and Windows desktop-based EHR systems.

• Contribute to the Point of Care full-stack application initiative, a significant investment for the 2026–27 product line.

• Create healthcare software aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 4 years of experience as an engineer in a cross-functional team environment.

• More than 4 years of experience as an engineer developing complex frontend (UI/UX) applications within a cross-functional team.

• At least 4 years of experience with CSS/HTML/JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, VueJs/Ember).

• Minimum 2 years of experience serving as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team, addressing both short-term and long-term business objectives.

• More than 2 years of experience mentoring other engineers.

• Experience in developing integration applications with health-tech systems, such as Electronic Health Records (EHRs/EMRs) is preferred.

• Proficiency in at least one server-side web technology (e.g., Node.js, Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, Go, JVM) is preferred.

• Familiarity with any web framework (Django, FastAPI, Flask, etc.) is preferred.

• Strong understanding of the DOM and browser functionality is preferred.

• Experience in building Chromium-based applications, pluggable UIs/overlays, Chrome extensions, Chromium applications, or Windows desktop applications is preferred.

• Knowledge in API design and development is preferred.

• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.

• Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
