Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• You will take charge of achieving and delivering quarterly targets for your team, guiding engineers through uncertainty to address open-ended challenges, while ensuring everyone receives the necessary support during delivery.

• Assist colleagues and stakeholders throughout the product development process by working alongside product management, design, and analytics, engaging in ideation, clarifying technical limitations, and collaborating on decisions that thoughtfully assess risks and trade-offs.

• Assume responsibility for your team’s operations and availability by implementing appropriate monitoring, triage rotations, playbooks, policies, testing, and alerting to sustain ongoing operations and on-call responsibilities.

• Actively identify issues related to projects, processes, technology, or business, advocate for their resolution, and lead efforts to address them.

• Ensure the operations and availability of your team’s artifacts by generating and tracking metrics, escalating issues as necessary, and supporting ongoing operations and on-call duties.

• Cultivate a culture of quality and accountability by establishing or enhancing code review and design standards for your team, promoting these practices beyond your team through writing and technical discussions.

• Contribute to the development of talent within your team by offering feedback and guidance, and demonstrating effective leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess experience in leading major mobile initiatives (React Native or native), which includes defining architecture, coordinating cross-functional launches, and ensuring high reliability in production settings.

• Ability to work across the React Native and native boundaries (Swift/Kotlin), troubleshoot platform-specific issues, and enhance developer tooling, CI/CD, and release processes for mobile applications.

• Experience in implementing experimentation, feature flagging, and analytics instrumentation within mobile applications, ensuring safe rollouts and measurable impacts.

• Proficient in shipping web applications using declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.

• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a software engineer.

• Experience in designing, developing, and launching scalable backend systems using technologies such as Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.

• Capable of defining a technical plan for delivering significant features or system components with a clean, simple, and extensible design, and producing high-quality code that is easy for others to understand and utilize.

• Proficient in implementing substantial changes within a large codebase and have cultivated a set of tools and practices that enable you and your team to do so safely.

• Demonstrates ownership of personal growth, actively seeking feedback from your team, manager, and stakeholders.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that facilitate effective collaboration with a global engineering team.

• This role requires either equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
