Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable backend systems that facilitate pharmacy operations, manufacturing, logistics, and adherence to regulatory standards.

• Play a key role in system design, establish architectural standards, guide technical direction, and prioritize roadmap initiatives.

• Implement and oversee integrations between internal services and external regulatory frameworks using canonical data contracts and API versioning.

• Create high-throughput, low-latency, and fault-tolerant systems.

• Establish observability through mechanisms like distributed tracing, structured logging, and anomaly detection.

• Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to enhance incident response and reduce recovery times.

• Evaluate and enhance performance at the database, network, and application tiers.

• Guide junior and mid-level engineers through organized reviews and collaborative programming sessions.

• Contribute to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, reusable libraries, and infrastructure-as-code practices.

• Leverage AI-assisted tools for system modeling, capacity planning, profiling, code generation, testing, and integration monitoring.

• Convert operational complexities and regulatory demands into actionable technical recommendations.

• Elevate engineering quality, reliability, and delivery benchmarks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Proficient in distributed systems, backend architecture, and enterprise-level microservices design.

• Strong skills in React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript within production settings.

• Proficient in Java/Spring Boot; knowledge of Python and C# is a plus.

• Strong expertise in GraphQL and/or Node.js-based development.

• Comprehensive understanding of performance optimization, system reliability, and observability methodologies.

• Capability to design systems that comply with regulatory, security, and data integrity standards.

• Experience in delivering production-ready backend systems in intricate, rapidly growing environments.

• Background in providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.

• Familiarity with regulated industries that necessitate auditability, data traceability, and compliance-oriented system design.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.

• A Master's degree is preferred.
