Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create full-stack web applications utilizing modern TypeScript with a focus on functional programming principles.

• Design and develop clean, modern, and user-friendly interfaces based on Figma prototypes, collaborating closely with product designers.

• Construct efficient, scalable, and secure backend APIs using Node and PostgreSQL.

• Engage in collaborative practices through code reviews, mentorship, and pair programming.

• Enhance and maintain existing codebases, minimizing technical debt and ensuring data models accurately reflect real-world scenarios.

• Provide support for production systems through deployments, incident management, and operational and infrastructure enhancements using DevOps methodologies.

• Draft and critique design documents while leading technical discussions regarding system architecture.

• Team up with QA Engineers to ensure features are thoroughly documented and fully testable.

• Get involved in Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Design and sustain software products that optimize Care Access operations and expedite clinical research.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in modern TypeScript, React, and Node.js.

• Experience with functional programming methodologies.

• Familiarity with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL.

• Experience with cloud service providers, such as AWS or Azure.

• Capability to work autonomously and thrive in a remote-first team setting.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in both front-end and back-end web development.

• Must be eligible to work remotely within the United States.
