Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack, Angular, Java, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable full-stack software solutions that align with business requirements.

• Build and modernize user-facing applications utilizing Angular, TypeScript, and a component-based front-end architecture.

• Lead technical design efforts for complex features and initiatives.

• Create technical documentation and ensure compliance with IT control policies.

• Develop and support back-end services and integrations utilizing Java, AWS services, and various database technologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical dependencies and deliver high-quality products.

• Identify root causes of system challenges, analyze upstream and downstream impacts, and propose comprehensive solutions.

• Advocate for best practices in development, testing, CI/CD, and Agile workflows.

• Mentor junior engineers through pairing and code reviews.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of system architecture, integrations, and data flows.

• Utilize AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity and code quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, complemented by a BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in developing modern web applications with Angular, including hands-on familiarity with Angular 17 or newer.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript, component-based UI development, reactive programming patterns, and front-end application architecture.

• Experience contributing to the technical architecture of large, long-lived codebases.

• Proficient in designing and implementing back-end services using Java and J2EE technologies.

• Familiarity with AWS technologies such as EC2, SNS, SQS, S3, SES, ECS, and Lambda.

• Proficiency in databases including MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and MySQL.

• A proven history of utilizing AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery and enhance code quality.

• Expertise in applying design best practices, focusing on performance, scalability, robustness, and resiliency.

• Previous experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively on multiple overlapping projects.

• Demonstrated success in delivering large, complex, cross-functional projects.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills suitable for engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences, and across cross-functional teams.

• Solid understanding of system-wide impacts and interdependencies.

• Strong practical problem-solving abilities across front-end, back-end, data, and cloud service domains.
