Senior Software Engineer, Frontend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and take ownership of user-facing features using React and TypeScript — ensuring they are polished, accessible, high-performing, and ready for production.

• Establish the technical direction and set the quality standards for the frontend.

• Guide and mentor engineers while actively participating in code reviews.

• Leverage AI and agentic development tools like Claude, while creating best practices for AI-assisted development.

• Develop and enhance backend services and APIs in Go as required.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to conceptualize and implement new experiences from initial design to final delivery.

• Contribute to the product and technical roadmaps, as well as the overall strategic direction of the engineering team.

• Create and maintain user-facing technical documentation that enhances product comprehension and adoption.

• Influence the engineering culture and uphold high standards throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of proven experience as a software engineer, with a strong focus on frontend development.

• Expert-level proficiency in React and TypeScript, with a keen eye for user experience, performance, and accessibility.

• Proven experience with AI and agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude), demonstrating the ability to use them effectively to enhance productivity.

• Leadership experience in establishing technical benchmarks, mentoring engineers, and making significant technical decisions.

• A history of delivering high-quality, production-grade frontend solutions at scale.

• Working knowledge of Go (or the capacity to quickly become proficient) for backend services, which is secondary to your frontend expertise.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and autonomously prioritize tasks based on business needs.

• A customer-centric mindset with strong empathy for users.

• Relevant industry experience in fintech, fraud, compliance, risk, or regulated systems is preferred.

• Proficient in English — capable of engaging in casual conversations as well as formal reporting.

• Familiarity with data tooling or pipelines is a valuable but not mandatory asset.

• Must be located in the Eastern Time Zone to align with the team's requirements.
