Senior Software Engineer, Frontend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain production-grade React applications

• Create user-friendly account interfaces and self-service functionalities, including dashboards and document viewers

• Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and third-party services

• Manage asynchronous operations, loading indicators, and error handling

• Construct and sustain a design system utilizing a utility-first CSS framework

• Implement data visualizations with libraries such as Recharts, D3, Chart.js, or similar tools

• Enhance web performance while measuring and auditing compliance with WCAG accessibility standards

• Engage with AWS services, including S3/CloudFront for static hosting and Lambda-backed APIs

• Leverage Vite or equivalent modern build tools

• Take ownership and provide support for production systems following their launch

• Collaborate effectively with design teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in building production-grade React applications

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript

• Extensive knowledge of modern React features, including hooks, Suspense, code-splitting, and a routing library

• Experience in integrating with REST APIs while managing async/loading/error states

• Practical experience with a utility-first CSS framework

• Proven track record in building and maintaining a design system

• Hands-on experience with data visualization libraries such as Recharts, D3, Chart.js, or similar

• Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques

• Capability to measure, implement, and audit WCAG accessibility standards

• High School diploma equivalency with two years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR four years of relevant cumulative job-specific experience

• Experience in developing client-facing account/self-service UIs that seamlessly interface with third-party hosted services

• Familiarity with AWS, including S3/CloudFront for static hosting and Lambda-backed APIs

• Experience with Vite or similar modern build tools

• Previous experience in a team responsible for managing production systems post-launch

• Background in design or a strong collaborative history with designers
