This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, test, and document software solutions while effectively troubleshooting technical challenges.
• Create and implement file-based, ETL, data-product, and cloud-native API-based external data integrations.
• Build and maintain .NET and Azure APIs, along with file-based interfaces and ETL processes.
• Design and oversee Informatica ETL processes and Snowflake data products.
• Conduct unit, regression, security, and load testing procedures.
• Perform impact assessments for interface and system modifications.
• Create integration designs for both custom and third-party solutions, including DTCC and iPipeline feeds.
• Contribute to architecture and solution design efforts.
• Convert business challenges and objectives into actionable functional solutions.
• Oversee the technical components of applications and manage business-facing technologies.
• Engage with clients, stakeholders, IT teams, business units, vendors, and technical resources.
• Deliver production support, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, defect resolution, and enhancements for reliability.
• Guide engineers through code reviews, knowledge transfer, and the execution of complex solutions.
• Serve as a project lead, encompassing task identification, design, testing, implementation, tracking, reporting, and management updates.
• Undertake any additional assigned roles, duties, and projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline; a suitable combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be acceptable.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering or application development, including the design, construction, testing, and support of production software solutions.
• More than 7 years of professional software engineering experience, focusing on the development and support of external data integrations and APIs in a regulated or highly governed setting.
• In-depth understanding of source control, automated testing, code review, CI/CD, and secure development practices.
• Capability to independently design, develop, and support intricate integration solutions within architectural guidelines.
• Proficiency in communicating technical concepts, integration dependencies, risks, and solution alternatives to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Skill in generating technical documentation.
• Competence in leading and mentoring peers.
• Ability to maintain a coherent technical vision and roadmap.
• Capability to function as a project lead.
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Consistent and timely attendance.
• Preferred background in Snowflake, Informatica, Azure API development, Terraform, GitHub Actions, DTCC, iPipeline Agency Integrator, insurance or financial services, and technical mentorship.
• Relevant cloud certifications such as Azure Developer Associate, Terraform Associate or Authoring and Operations Professional, or similar credentials are preferred.
