Senior Software Engineer, Experimentation Interfaces

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Co-manage the web application utilized by teams for setting up, overseeing, and analyzing experiments and feature configurations.

• Develop workflows enhanced by AI for designing experiments, validating them, and processing results.

• Create features from start to finish, spanning the React/TypeScript interface, through Python APIs, to the data layer.

• Implement new functionalities across the client interface, APIs, and database, taking ownership from design through on-call responsibilities.

• Collaborate with design teams and key customers to craft intuitive user experiences and effectively visualize experiment outcomes.

• Construct AI-driven workflows, which include agent tools, skills, and interfaces, while conducting evaluations to ensure quality standards.

• Leverage AI-assisted development techniques and contribute to establishing team practices.

• Partner with data science colleagues to integrate new methodologies into the product.

• Engage in experiment reviews to gain insights into customer usage and identify gaps within the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a practical software engineering position, delivering high-quality code to production, including full-stack web applications built on a modern technology stack.

• Proficient front-end capabilities: foundational knowledge of React and TypeScript, state and data fetching, performance optimization, testing, and a keen sense for intuitive designs in data-rich or enterprise applications.

• Comprehensive experience across the technology stack: backend APIs using Python or a similar language, GraphQL or equivalent API design, and relational database management.

• Direct experience with AI technologies: working with LLMs or agent tools (including tools, skills, evaluations), or a solid understanding of AI-assisted development with the ability to validate its outputs.

• Proven track record of collaborating with customers and design teams to translate ambiguous requirements into well-designed, shipped features, accompanied by clear communication.

• Familiarity with data visualization or data-intensive applications [Bonus]

• Background in experimentation platforms [Bonus]
