Senior Software Engineer, Embedded Finance – Flagship Web3 Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +7 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of features from start to finish: create the specifications, design the solutions, develop them, and manage them in a live environment.

• Design, develop, and support backend services utilizing Node.js and TypeScript with frameworks like NestJS or Elysia.

• Create high-performance APIs and asynchronous tasks.

• Utilize AWS cloud services such as Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, Aurora, S3, and CloudWatch.

• Handle data storage and synchronization using Postgres and Aurora.

• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions.

• Participate in architectural decisions, code evaluations, and security practices.

• Work closely with product and business stakeholders.

• Utilize AI tools and contemporary development methodologies to enhance engineering productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in backend engineering.

• Extensive knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript, particularly in RESTful API design and asynchronous job patterns.

• Strong product intuition and capability to fully own features from conception to deployment.

• Practical experience with AWS cloud services, including Lambda, SQS, Aurora, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager.

• Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational database systems.

• Familiarity with event-driven and serverless architecture.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fully remote, asynchronous team setting.

• Proven experience using AI tools to enhance development efficiency.

• Experience with B2B API platforms or infrastructure products is a plus.

• Background in fintech, payments, or card issuing is advantageous.

• Interest in Web3, stablecoins, or the intersection of Web2 and Web3 is a plus.

• Experience in a startup environment is beneficial.
