Senior Software Engineer – Devices

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create cross-platform applications utilizing Go and Node.js for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

• Contribute to the Device Management / MDM / Endpoint Management sector.

• Develop software that allows IT administrators to remotely set up, patch, secure, and monitor endpoints.

• Design cross-OS device management engines, MDM/DDM telemetry, custom system agents, and pipelines for zero-touch enrollment.

• Balance programming for client-side operating systems with the development of high-availability cloud APIs.

• Collaborate with architects, UX designers, and DevOps to create highly available, scalable systems and enhance user experiences.

• Operate within a Scrum framework to promote agile development practices.

• Engage with mTLS protocols and security principles.

• Utilize OAuth/OIDC flows for secure authentication and service access.

• Write and automate unit, functional, and acceptance tests.

• Participate in strategic planning and scoping activities with product managers.

• Join on-call shifts and provide responses during assigned periods.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in developing applications for Mac, Windows, or Linux, including third-party application integration.

• Proficiency in a modern programming language such as Python, Java, or Golang; experience in at least one is mandatory.

• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally using GitHub Actions.

• Understanding of containerization technologies and Kubernetes orchestration.

• Strong practical experience in backend software development or full-stack development.

• Willingness to mentor junior team members.

• Proficient in both spoken and written English.

• Familiarity with Swift, C#, or C++ is a plus.

• Knowledge of device MDM is advantageous.

• Experience with Windows services, event loggers, kernels, macOS Launch daemons, or Mac application hosting is a bonus.
