Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take charge of and manage significant distributed systems challenges from start to finish, including production deployment.

• Work closely with the engineering team to pinpoint and prioritize essential issues and projects.

• Elevate the quality standards across engineering while ensuring that systems remain dependable and operationally efficient.

• Provide mentorship and support for engineers while gaining insights from seasoned professionals.

• Address distributed-systems challenges related to performance, reliability, concurrency, and data infrastructure.

• Solid foundation in distributed systems and experience tackling issues at scale.

• Proficiency in Java is advantageous, though not mandatory.

• Capability to transform an idea from concept to implementation and successfully deliver it in a production environment.

• Strong commitment to quality and customer experience, emphasizing reliability, observability, performance, and usability.

• Willingness to adapt and remain flexible in response to shifting priorities.
