Assistant Vice President – Technology, Information Management, Data Warehouse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead and guide a diverse group of data warehouse specialists.

• Design and implement data warehouse architectures that align with business requirements and strategic goals.

• Oversee and enhance data operations, encompassing ingestion, transformation, and loading processes.

• Work collaboratively with business units and IT teams to convert data requirements into technical specifications.

• Recognize opportunities for platform improvements and upgrades.

• Ensure the security and governance of the data warehouse, including compliance protocols.

• Direct data platform patching and maintenance to ensure availability, performance, and reliability.

• Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote data-driven decision-making.

• Develop and present reports and presentations to senior leadership regarding data warehouse performance and key metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is mandatory; a master’s degree is preferred.

• At least 10 years of experience in data warehousing, demonstrating a successful track record of leading complex data platforms and projects.

• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Cloudera, Kafka, Azure Cosmos DB, Data Bricks, and NoSQL platforms.

• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

• Proven history of successful data warehousing projects and familiarity with industry best practices.

• Experience in data security and governance, including regulatory compliance and comprehensive security measures.

• Knowledge of data platform upgrades and patching processes.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
