Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain effective data pipelines that handle large data volumes.

• Enhance and refine the data platform for improved speed, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Collaborate with various functional teams to identify and address their data requirements.

• Create processes and tools to track and assess model performance and data accuracy.

• Address general data-related challenges.

• Engage in a hiring process that includes a take-home assessment, a recruiter phone call, a technical interview, and both behavioral and technical interviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer (5+ years, which can be compensated by notable achievements).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Advanced expertise in SQL.

• Proficient in Python programming.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.

• Experience with version control systems like Git.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• A passion for learning and mastering new technologies and methodologies.

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Experience with data governance, developing and deploying machine learning models, and using Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools is a plus.
