Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Gather, process, and refine data from diverse sources

• Create and implement data models, ETL pipelines, and automated workflows

• Perform comprehensive data analysis and develop predictive models to address business challenges

• Generate reports and visualizations utilizing BI tools such as Tableau, Google Data Studio, or Looker

• Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend business issues and deliver actionable insights

• Continuously enhance internal processes by automating recurring tasks

• Assist in account expansion initiatives by pinpointing opportunities to add further value for clients

• Engage in medium to large-scale projects across various industries

• Report directly to the Head of Data and Engineering

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer

• Strong expertise in statistical analysis and data modeling

• Previous experience managing marketing data

• Proficient in Python and SQL, along with other relevant languages/tools

• Experience in building ETL pipelines and transforming data from various sources

• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio

• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities

• Targeted timezones/locations: Southeast Asia, East Asia, South Asia; only applications from these specific time zones/locations will be considered

• Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (preferred)

• GCP certification (preferred)

• Knowledge of big data processing frameworks like Spark or Hadoop (preferred)

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (preferred)
