Senior Software Engineer, Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with product managers, data analysts, and machine learning engineers to create pipelines and ETL tasks for deriving insights.

• Grasp product requirements and convert them into actionable project plans for implementation.

• Develop data architecture processes and practices that can be scheduled, automated, replicated, and utilized as standards by other teams.

• Partner with Data Leadership to recognize and promote significant projects within the commercial organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a data engineer or in a similar capacity.

• Proven experience in creating automated testing, applying design patterns, and utilizing other engineering best practices.

• High-level expertise in Python.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Experience in developing maintainable data pipelines using Python and SQL.

• Experience in designing multiple data pipelines from inception to completion, including technology selection, construction, testing, and deployment.

• Ability to identify and implement APIs, streaming, multithreading, and other asynchronous methodologies.

• Knowledge of monitoring and maintaining asynchronous systems.

• Familiarity with the deployment and monitoring of ML/AI applications.

• Capability to convey complex concepts in a simple manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
