Senior Data Engineer – Fluent English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and enhance contemporary analytics solutions within a Data & Analytics ecosystem that utilizes Microsoft Azure and Snowflake.

• Design, build, and sustain data models, schemas, and queries in Snowflake, prioritizing performance, scalability, and quality.

• Construct and refine data pipelines in an Azure setting.

• Develop transformation and modeling processes using DBT (Data Build Tool).

• Integrate and transfer data across various source systems and the Data Warehouse.

• Create and maintain write-back solutions linking front-end applications to Snowflake.

• Collaborate with APIs and engage in real-time data processing (streaming).

• Participate in defining and advancing technical solutions alongside Solution Architects.

• Implement best practices for security, architecture, quality, and data governance throughout the Azure ecosystem.

• Contribute to the testing, validation, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of developed solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English, capable of actively engaging in meetings and technical discussions.

• Extensive experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure applied to data and analytics solutions.

• Advanced SQL skills, including query development and optimization.

• Experience in data modeling, schemas, and pipeline creation.

• Practical experience with DBT (Data Build Tool).

• Proficient in Git and CI/CD methodologies.

• Understanding of APIs and data streaming concepts.

• Experience in creating analytics solutions and Data Products.

• Preferred: knowledge of Data Mesh and current data architectures.

• Preferred: experience with SAP S/4HANA (S4).

• Preferred: understanding of financial, operational, or data stewardship processes.

• Preferred: experience with Analytics platforms and Data Products.

• Preferred: experience in global corporate environments and data transformation initiatives.

• Preferred: experience in defining and evolving data solutions in collaboration with Architecture and business teams.
