This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and sustain data pipelines to enhance enterprise data and analytics functionalities.
• Work collaboratively with analytics teams, data warehousing professionals, DBAs, subject matter experts, and a diverse agile team.
• Create solutions for data integration and transformation.
• Document and evaluate both functional and non-functional data requirements.
• Design scalable, automated, and fault-tolerant data pipeline solutions.
• Analyze data to ensure source accuracy and completeness, collaborating with business partners to resolve any discrepancies.
• Construct and manage pipelines across development, testing, and production environments.
• Design modular solutions that enhance code reuse.
• Generate data mappings, programs, routines, and SQL to extract data from legacy systems, web sources, cloud environments, and commercial packages.
• Employ ELT, ETL, data virtualization, and other techniques to optimize data transfer and performance.
• Oversee metadata management procedures and documentation.
• Monitor data quality and formulate transformation rules for data cleansing.
• Engage in code reviews and unit testing to enhance performance and reduce issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics, economics, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to gather requirements and collaborate with colleagues and business partners.
• Over 4 years of experience in a development team providing analytical solutions.
• More than 4 years of practical experience in data preparation, SQL, integration tools, ETL/ELT, and data pipeline design.
• Proficiency in SQL coding.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Emphasis on Continuous Integration and Delivery.
• Previous experience with data integration platforms like IBM InfoSphere DataStage, Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica PowerCenter, MS SSIS, AWS Glue, or Denodo.
• Understanding of data warehouse MPP platforms such as Snowflake, Netezza, Teradata, or Redshift.
• Familiarity with event stores and stream processing, including Apache Kafka and platforms like Confluent, is advantageous.
• Knowledge of API development and management platforms such as MuleSoft and Axway is beneficial.
• Ability to concentrate on specific tasks while aligning with broader strategic designs.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with a commitment to continuous learning.
• For remote or hybrid positions, maintain high engagement in virtual settings, including camera presence during meetings.
