Junior Data Engineer – Snowflake

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as a Junior Data Analyst on initiatives that integrate technology, data, and business.

• Engage with Snowflake and various data technologies.

• Contribute to the development, improvement, and maintenance of data solutions.

• Assist in Cloud Data Platform projects.

• Create and maintain data solutions utilized in diverse business contexts.

• Conduct activities related to processes, documentation, testing, and data quality assurance.

• Explore issues and pursue resolutions.

• Share insights and collaborate with various specialties, functions, and regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed or in-progress higher education in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in SQL.

• Familiarity with or initial experience in Snowflake.

• Basic knowledge of Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Cloud Computing.

• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes.

• Fundamental knowledge of data modeling.

• Enthusiasm for developing and supporting data solutions.

• Basic understanding of data testing and validation.

• Academic or professional experience with Snowflake is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Python is beneficial.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.

• Familiarity with dbt is a plus.

• Experience with BI tools is beneficial.

• Familiarity with pipeline orchestration tools is an advantage.

• Proficiency in English for reading technical documentation is desirable.

• Ability to translate learning into practical applications.

• Strong organizational skills in managing data, processes, and documentation.
