Senior Software Engineer – Data and Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions.

• Construct and uphold RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations between internal and external systems.

• Create data ingestion, transformation, validation, and synchronization processes.

• Integrate ERP, CRM, PIM, e-commerce, supply chain, and other enterprise applications.

• Manage structured and unstructured data from various sources while ensuring data quality and consistency.

• Diagnose integration failures, data issues, API errors, and production incidents.

• Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable software components.

• Collaborate with product managers, architects, data engineers, and other engineering teams.

• Engage in technical design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

• Monitor integration and data-processing workflows to identify opportunities for performance and reliability enhancements.

• Adhere to software engineering best practices, including version control, CI/CD, automated testing, logging, and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of software engineering experience, ideally with substantial expertise in data and systems integration.

• Proficient programming skills in one or more languages, such as Java, Python, C#/.NET, or similar enterprise programming languages.

• Extensive experience in developing and integrating REST APIs, web services, and event-driven integrations.

• Practical experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data transformation, and data integration.

• Strong SQL proficiency and experience with relational databases.

• Familiarity with JSON, XML, CSV, and other data formats.

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Knowledge of messaging/event technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, Azure Service Bus, or similar.

• Proficient with Git and CI/CD tools.

• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing, debugging, and production support.

• Ability to analyze complex integration and data-flow challenges and devise practical solutions.

• Familiarity with PIM, ERP, CRM, e-commerce, supply chain, or manufacturing systems.

• Experience integrating platforms like SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or other enterprise applications.

• Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) or product/customer data.

• Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift.

• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes.

• Experience with API management or integration platforms like MuleSoft, Boomi, or Azure Integration Services.

• Experience implementing data quality, validation, and monitoring frameworks.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to effectively engage with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, distributed engineering environment.
