Senior Software Engineer, C#/.NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate as a member of a compact, agile software development team, engaging with all facets of the organization.

• Enhance the cloud-based software solution utilizing .NET 10 and Microsoft Azure.

• Assume accountability for the entire system lifecycle following the “You build it, you run it” philosophy.

• Oversee systems and dashboards.

• Conduct root-cause analyses to perpetually improve the platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Multiple years of experience in developing and managing cloud-based web applications, preferably with Microsoft Azure.

• Strong expertise in software development using .NET (C#).

• Proficient in German with a minimum C1 level of business fluency.

• Experience in handling large datasets.

• A self-directed, organized, and results-focused work style.

• Demonstrated initiative, strong communication skills, and the capacity to both give and receive constructive feedback.

• Preferably familiar with C# (MVC, Razor Pages, Blazor), .NET APIs, SQL, NoSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Kafka, Terraform, continuous integration, infrastructure as code, Scrum, or Kanban.

• Initial experience or knowledge in the FinTech, brokerage, or financial markets sector is a plus.
