Senior Software Engineer, ChartCheck

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain features that support workflows for checking radiotherapy plans, encompassing DICOM integration, image visualization, dose visualization, plan visualization, DVH evaluation, and the creation of plan checks.

• Develop efficient and reliable WPF desktop applications.

• Integrate with oncology information systems through DICOM networking and associated clinical interfaces.

• Work collaboratively with physicists and product leaders to convert clinical requirements into software ready for production.

• Participate in architecture design, testing, code reviews, and technical decision-making.

• Offer support to teammates through collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.

• Create both front-end and back-end software for the ChartCheck application.

• Assist in the design of new products intended for cancer treatment centers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Strong programming skills in a high-level programming language, such as C#, C++, or Java.

• Full Stack developer capable of both frontend and backend development within web and cloud environments.

• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, MS SQL, or PostgreSQL.

• Proficiency in C# .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Lit (or similar technologies).

• Experience with WPF / C#.NET.

• Background in clinical radiotherapy or imaging programming involving DICOM.

• Familiarity with HIPAA and Medical Device regulations related to software development.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity and software risk management practices.

• Proficiency in C# and JavaScript is essential, as ChartCheck is developed using these languages.
