Senior Software Engineer, Backend – Core AI Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement agentic AI systems to enhance customer support and automate compliance processes.

• Develop robust and secure backend infrastructure in Python and Golang tailored for AI workloads.

• Build model integration pipelines, establish guardrails, grounding mechanisms, and measurement frameworks.

• Oversee the comprehensive execution of intricate AI projects while balancing factors such as latency, accuracy, cost, and reliability.

• Collaborate with Customer Experience, Compliance, and product engineering teams to uncover automation opportunities.

• Convert operational challenges into AI-driven solutions.

• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to engineers regarding AI system design patterns.

• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to incident response efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on designing, developing, and maintaining production services using microservices architecture.

• Practical experience in creating LLM-based applications or AI/ML systems deployed in production environments.

• Knowledge of prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or agentic AI frameworks.

• Proficiency in Python and Golang or similar backend programming languages.

• Experience in integrating third-party AI models and APIs into operational workflows.

• Proven track record of delivering comprehensive projects that yield measurable business results in ambiguous problem domains.

• Experience in building data pipelines, collaborating with external vendors, or working with large-scale unstructured data sets.

• Commitment to the responsible use of generative AI under human supervision.

• Familiarity with GenAI frameworks/tools, Python, GoLang, Docker, Postgres, and MongoDB is a valuable asset.

• A background in AI/LLM infrastructure is highly advantageous.
