Senior Software Engineer, Autonomy Actions Sustaining

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain simulation and analytical tools to expedite the development of the autonomy stack and facilitate automated root cause analysis.

• Design and implement effective, user-centric tools that support autonomy technology.

• Develop execution runners, either locally or in the cloud, for adjusting parameters, code modifications, and reruns using recorded logs.

• Construct GUI debuggers and web-based or native 2D/3D visualizers for detailed frame-by-frame analysis of perception, prediction, and planning data.

• Work closely with planning and controls engineers to comprehend the requirements for simulation and analysis tools.

• Continuously enhance and optimize the simulation and analysis tools.

• Provide robust solutions to address the challenges faced by Autonomy engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in software development and testing, ideally within the automotive or gaming sectors.

• Strong expertise in C++, with a focus on developing high-performance and resilient systems.

• Proficient in navigating and contributing to extensive, complex codebases where modularity and documentation are crucial.

• A passion for a driverless future and an awareness of the critical implications of deploying software that interacts with the physical environment.
