Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain digital products in a live environment

• Engage in full stack development across various layers of the application

• Construct backend services utilizing Node.js and/or Golang

• Develop web and mobile applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and React Native

• Design and integrate REST APIs

• Architect and implement software design, patterns, and best practices

• Manage relational and/or NoSQL databases

• Utilize Git along with contemporary software development and delivery methodologies

• Execute unit, integration, and test automation processes

• Collaborate with CI/CD, containers, and cloud platforms

• Establish observability, logging, metrics, and monitoring systems

• Evaluate intricate problems and make informed technical decisions based on impact, cost, time, and sustainability

• Navigate issues from initial understanding to resolution in production

• Partner with various disciplines

• Upgrade and modernize legacy systems using Java and/or PHP

• Engage with distributed architectures, microservices, and event-driven systems

• Develop high-scale applications and systems capable of handling substantial data volumes

• Work with queues, streaming, and asynchronous processing

• Publish, oversee, and sustain applications on the App Store and Google Play

• Implement strategies for updating, versioning, and distributing React Native applications

• Work with geolocation, maps, telemetry, IoT, or real-time data processing

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Software Engineering and the development of digital products in a production setting

• Proficiency in Full Stack development across various application layers

• Experience with Node.js and/or Golang for backend development

• Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript

• Proficient in React and React Native

• Strong understanding of mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms

• Experience with REST APIs

• Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and best development practices

• Experience managing relational and/or NoSQL databases

• Proficiency in Git and modern software development and delivery processes

• Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and test automation

• Familiarity with CI/CD, containers, and cloud environments

• Understanding of observability, logging, metrics, and monitoring

• Capability to analyze complex issues and make technical decisions considering impact, cost, time, and sustainability

• Ability to independently drive issues from understanding to production solutions

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines

• Completed high school diploma

• Nice to have: experience with AWS

• Nice to have: experience with Java and/or PHP, particularly with legacy systems

• Nice to have: exposure to distributed architectures, microservices, and event-driven systems

• Nice to have: experience with high-scale applications and large-volume data systems

• Nice to have: familiarity with queues, streaming, and asynchronous processing

• Nice to have: experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Nice to have: experience in publishing, monitoring, and maintaining apps on the App Store and Google Play

• Nice to have: knowledge of updating, versioning, and distributing React Native applications
