Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design complex, real-world software engineering challenges that involve feature implementation, bug resolution, code refactoring, and performance enhancement.

• Develop high-quality reference implementations.

• Construct deterministic verifiers, validation scripts, and thorough test cases.

• Leverage backend expertise in scalable services, APIs, asynchronous processing, and distributed systems.

• Evaluate software defects, investigate system bottlenecks, and pinpoint root causes.

• Create testing strategies, manage extensive test suites, diagnose flaky tests, and enhance software quality.

• Review code for correctness, readability, maintainability, performance, security, and adherence to engineering best practices.

• Generate refactoring and optimization tasks applicable to AI systems.

• Assess AI-generated reasoning concerning architecture, debugging, algorithms, system design, and implementation choices.

• Document task requirements, anticipated behavior, test coverage, solution strategies, and verification standards.

• Analyze model failures and refine coding tasks as well as evaluation methods.

• Complete an approximately 30-minute AI interview and technical assessment if necessary.

• Commence initial tasks within 24–48 hours of completing the onboarding process if selected.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid professional experience in software engineering, particularly in backend development and production-grade systems.

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, C++, or similar technologies.

• Demonstrated experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable services and APIs.

• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, system design, and essential computer science principles.

• Extensive experience with debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and code review processes.

• Practical knowledge of automated testing, test design, and software quality assurance methodologies.

• Ability to identify implementation defects, edge cases, inefficient algorithms, and architectural vulnerabilities.

• Strong understanding of code maintainability, refactoring, reliability, and software engineering best practices.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication capabilities.

• Capacity to work independently and exercise sound technical judgment.

• Candidates must complete interviews and assessments autonomously, without assistance from AI tools or other individuals.

• Minimum submission requirements are applicable, including a specified minimum number of tasks per week.
