Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain software for Android-based point-of-sale systems.

• Collaborate with product management, design teams, and backend engineering to identify, create, and implement features.

• Ensure the quality and reliability of software through automated testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.

• Offer technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to team members.

• Tackle technical challenges and propose effective solutions.

• Contribute to the design of subsystems focusing on scalability, security, and performance.

• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to shape the product roadmap and inform technical decisions.

• Develop restaurant point-of-sale solutions with an emphasis on payment and payment processing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional experience in developing Android applications.

• Proficient in Java and Kotlin.

• Familiarity with RxJava is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in building high-availability, real-time systems, ideally within the payments or financial technology sector.

• Knowledge of secure payment protocols, PCI compliance, and payment processing workflows is preferred but not mandatory.

• Proven capability to provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.

• Strong analytical skills and experience in addressing complex technical problems.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across various disciplines.

• Work authorization in the U.S. is required.
