Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture and execution of the Rails backend and React frontend.

• Develop integrations that link the service to the Node.js/NestJS PBM platform.

• Guide mid-level and junior engineers through pairing and code review sessions.

• Establish testing and code quality benchmarks and proactively identify risks.

• Work alongside product and design teams to create thoughtful solutions.

• Engage in architectural conversations and influence technical choices.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.

• Assess code and offer technical support to colleagues.

• Enhance reliability, performance, and the overall developer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in building production-grade software.

• Extensive experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and React.

• Strong backend proficiency with Ruby on Rails, Node, or comparable frameworks.

• Experience with APIs utilizing GraphQL or REST.

• Enthusiasm for engaging with various backend technologies.

• Ability to take ownership of complex systems and enhance them over time.

• Collaborative, practical, and focused on product outcomes.
