Senior Software Engineer

• Write well-structured, testable, and efficient code by adhering to software development best practices.

• Contribute throughout all stages of the development lifecycle.

• Explore alternative technologies and present them for architectural evaluation.

• Suggest technical implementations to tackle scaling and performance challenges.

• Utilize GitHub for version control, resolve conflicts, and automate continuous integration processes.

• Create and maintain comprehensive software documentation.

• Collaborate with teams in Engineering, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Mobile Engineering.

• Mentor colleagues, share knowledge, and actively contribute to continuous improvement and technical excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Educational background in computer science, engineering, or software development fields.

• Practical experience in engineering roles.

• Experience handling medium domains of medium/high complexity.

• Strong understanding of web applications, including security, session management, and development best practices.

• Familiarity with relational database systems and object-oriented programming.

• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design; experience with Microservice Architecture is a plus.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while mastering a variety of web technologies and techniques.

• Proven capability to design complex distributed applications that are high-performing, scalable, and reliable.

• Development experience with Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and AWS.

• Experience with asynchronous programming.

• Proficiency in profiling and performance-tuning Java applications and utilizing production monitoring tools.

• Hands-on experience with AI frameworks in development projects.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to mentor colleagues and contribute to ongoing improvement.

• Flexibility, adaptability, receptiveness to feedback, and a strong desire to learn.

• Familiarity with financial domains like lending, payments, credit cards, open finance, fraud prevention, merchant acquiring, or investment services is preferred.

• Experience in delivering financial solutions such as loan origination, payment processing, open finance, fraud detection, reporting, or reconciliation is highly desirable.

• Ability to interpret compliance mandates such as KYC/AML, PCI-DSS, and GDPR into resilient, high-performance systems is a significant advantage.
