Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, test, and maintain high-traffic enterprise web applications.

• Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, prototyping, programming, testing, debugging, and providing production support.

• Create applications utilizing C#/.NET, ASP.NET MVC, AngularJS, SQL Server, and related technologies.

• Leverage AI development tools and AI agents in everyday software development tasks to streamline processes, create workflows, and enhance development efficiency.

• Contribute to technical design and implementation decisions.

• Proactively identify specifications or methods that may lead to performance, quality, or architectural issues.

• Build and maintain multi-tier components for high-traffic systems.

• Operate within an Agile Scrum development framework.

• Diagnose complex application and technical issues and formulate effective solutions.

• Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, engineering leadership, and business teams to convert requirements into functional technical solutions.

• Act as a technical resource for fellow developers and disseminate knowledge across the development team.

• Mentor junior software engineers and contribute to the overall technical growth of the team.

• Effectively prioritize competing tasks, manage workload, and consistently meet deadlines.

• Participate in an initial video interview with the hiring manager followed by a technical video interview.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software development, including proficiency in C#, Java, Python, or similar programming languages.

• Strong background in developing applications using C#/.NET.

• At least 3 years of experience in web application development with ASP.NET.

• Hands-on experience with .NET Framework 4.8 or later.

• Proficient in developing applications with AngularJS.

• Familiarity with the MVC framework.

• More than 5 years of experience in SQL Server database development.

• Experience working in an Agile development environment.

• Proven capability in developing multi-tier components for high-volume systems.

• Experience utilizing AI agents or AI development tools to automate tasks, streamline processes, or create development workflows.

• Excellent troubleshooting and technical problem-solving abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating within a development team.

• Preference for candidates with Entity Framework experience.

• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular is preferred.

• ASP.NET Web API experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with load-balancing technologies is preferred.

• An advanced degree or additional technical training in a related area is preferred.

• Additional experience in developing applications with C#/.NET/ASP.NET is preferred.

• Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other software developers is preferred.

• Candidates must be located within 50 miles of Beaverton, Oregon, or Phoenix, Arizona.

• A technical assessment is required as part of the candidate submission process.
