Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain intricate software features and services within OneStream solutions.

• Convert requirements into technical designs and implementations.

• Lead the implementation of moderately to highly complex features.

• Facilitate technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.

• Create and maintain user interface solutions utilizing Angular, React, Blazor, and WPF.

• Design and enhance APIs, SDKs, extensibility mechanisms, JSON/XML contracts, schemas, and integrations.

• Identify opportunities for enhancing system performance, reliability, and developer productivity.

• Lead and engage in formal code reviews.

• Mentor and support Software Engineers.

• Collaborate across functions to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Contribute to improvements in CI/CD, automation, testing strategies, and engineering quality initiatives.

• Own complex features end-to-end, including testing, deployment, and production support.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools for development, refactoring, testing, and documentation while validating outputs.

• Diagnose and resolve production issues in collaboration with peers.

• Ensure scalability, performance, maintainability, reliability, and backward compatibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

• 5–8 years of professional software development experience.

• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and related frameworks.

• Experience in building user interfaces with Angular, React, Blazor, and WPF.

• Deep understanding of RESTful API design and service-oriented architectures.

• Extensive experience in designing, maintaining, and evolving JSON contracts in enterprise applications.

• Experience with performance tuning, memory management, and SQL query optimization.

• Strong experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in reviewing unit tests and ensuring adequate test coverage.

• Ability to use AI-assisted development tools responsibly and critically assess outputs.
