Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and deliver innovative, web-based software solutions for the Flex program

• Develop and maintain high-quality full-stack code

• Build features that assist with audits and inspections, incident management, flexible training, reporting, and insights

• Enable clients to gather, assess, comprehend, and apply safety and training information in real-time

• Deliver high-quality, production-ready features punctually with robust test coverage and minimal rework

• Utilize generative AI tools throughout design, implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation phases

• Validate, enhance, and secure AI-generated code prior to production deployment

• Convert ambiguous product requirements into technical plans and deliverable solutions

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

• Contribute to and enhance the code review process

• Communicate technical concepts, trade-offs, and risks effectively to engineering, product teams, and other stakeholders

• Share workflows for AI, automation techniques, and best practices with the team

• Take complete ownership of projects while managing risks, dependencies, and ensuring follow-through

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, providing technical guidance, and engaging in pair programming

• Promote knowledge sharing through technical discussions, documentation, and internal learning sessions

• Collaborate efficiently, offer and accept feedback, and encourage continuous learning

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in software engineering equivalent to a senior-level software engineer

• Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript

• Proficient with Vue, React, or other component-based frameworks

• Capability to thrive in an AI-first development setting

• Effective prompt engineering and critical assessment of AI-generated outputs

• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and system design

• Proficient debugging skills and performance optimization capabilities

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD methodologies

• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including query optimization and data modeling

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in an agile, team-oriented environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred
