Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, test, and deploy products for Mitratech’s HRS Platform Team

• Assess functional and technical specifications

• Conduct research and design solutions for Web + AI-driven enterprise applications

• Produce high-quality, maintainable code that aligns with design specifications and standards

• Incorporate AI-assisted development tools into everyday engineering tasks

• Manage context engineering and harness engineering for dependable agentic-tool output

• Collaborate with teams throughout the organization to fulfill project requirements

• Execute unit, automation, and peer testing

• Document all completed work

• Offer training, project demonstrations, and presentations as required

• Mentor colleagues voluntarily on the effective and responsible use of AI tools

• Write or contribute to design documentation

• Conduct code reviews

• Take the lead or co-lead projects and design initiatives

• Suggest code refactoring, process optimizations, technologies, tools, and emerging AI-driven methodologies

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in a software development or software engineering position

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Independent and driven self-starter

• Capable of logical reasoning and providing innovative solutions

• Proven, hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Devin AI, or comparable tools

• Ability to articulate how AI-assisted tools have transformed your approach to software development

• Familiarity with managing agent instructions, skills, and harnesses to achieve consistent, production-quality outcomes

• Expertise in modern backend languages/stacks like Go, Java, Python, TypeScript/Node, Vanilla JS/PReact

• Experience in Web Services and REST API design and implementation

• Knowledge of RDBMS DDL and SQL

• Experience with ORM frameworks

• Proficiency in CSS

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, with a preference for AWS

• Knowledge of authentication and security protocols, including OAuth2 and OIDC

• Proficiency in Git

• Experience with Continuous Integration

• Commitment to predictable and high-quality delivery

• Successful track record of completing projects where AI-assisted development tools significantly enhanced delivery speed or improved quality
