Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Modernize and enhance the security of Drupal-based platforms to ensure system stability, compliance with security standards, and an uninterrupted customer experience.

• Take ownership of the Drupal platform, overseeing upgrades, security updates, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.

• Design, implement, and scale backend services utilizing C#, .NET Core, RESTful APIs, and service-oriented architectures.

• Develop and improve web applications using React, Redux, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

• Architect and refine highly scalable and reliable systems for high-traffic environments, ensuring strong observability and extensibility.

• Utilize Cursor, Claude, and GitHub Copilot to create AI agents with the latest LLM models.

• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to build features powered by AI/ML.

• Diagnose and resolve production issues while contributing to incident response and enhancing system resilience.

• Partner with Product, Design, and Data teams from the initial discovery phase through to product launch.

• Create and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests throughout the development lifecycle.

• Engage in code and design reviews, foster knowledge sharing, and promote continuous improvement.

• Develop scalable web applications, backend services, Drupal solutions, modern frontend experiences, AI-driven features, and quality engineering capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in web development.

• At least 2 years of practical experience with Drupal, including major-version upgrades and working with Drupal databases.

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on PHP experience, ideally with Drupal customization, module creation, and maintenance.

• Strong proficiency in Drupal, PHP, C#, .NET Core, REST APIs, and service-oriented/event-driven architectures.

• Experience using AI/LLMs in development, testing, code interpretation, analysis, and other engineering applications.

• Extensive experience in building complex web applications and managing high-volume systems along with large-scale data processing.

• A solid understanding of architectural patterns, clean and maintainable code, and contemporary web services.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, ability to collaborate across functions, and adeptness at managing multiple priorities.

• Preferred: experience with Drupal 11 upgrades, migrations, and custom module development.

• Preferred: practical experience with React.js or Angular, with a preference for React.
