Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Engage throughout the S-SDLC, encompassing analysis and architectural design through implementation, testing, and deployment.

• Create and maintain .NET web applications utilizing .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET 10.

• Design, construct, and enhance SQL Server database interactions.

• Produce clean, reliable, scalable, and high-performance code.

• Conduct integration and unit testing.

• Facilitate peer-led code reviews and uphold standards of code quality.

• Implement SOLID principles and design patterns.

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines.

• Identify issues, recurring patterns, and opportunities for system enhancements.

• Create innovative technical solutions.

• Contribute to thorough technical documentation.

• Collaborate with POs, BAs, Automation Testers, QA, and DevOps.

• Oversee monitoring, logging, and alerting for services in production.

• Reverse-engineer existing code and make decisions regarding refactoring versus rewriting.

• Mentor team members and share technical knowledge.

• Take ownership of features from design to deployment, ensuring performance, scalability, and quality.


⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in .NET engineering.

• Proficient with .NET Framework 4.8, .NET 10, and C#.

• Strong skills in SQL Server, including queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, and SSRS.

• Solid understanding of HTTP, JSON, and RESTful API principles.

• Demonstrated experience with high-traffic applications focusing on performance and scalability.

• Knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns.

• Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and automation of deployments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Proficiency in Greek and English, both spoken and written.

• Capability to identify and resolve complex issues.

• Commitment to knowledge-sharing and collaborative teamwork.

• Bonus: familiarity with RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka.

• Bonus: understanding of billing and subscription management systems.
