Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and maintain SSIS packages along with C# API integrations.

• Facilitate secure and dependable file transfers and data exchanges between external partners, internal systems, the Record Management System, and web applications.

• Develop SSIS workflows for file intake, validation, transformation, loading, delivery, archiving, logging, and error management.

• Design and implement C#/.NET APIs that connect the Record Management System with web applications and internal systems.

• Assist in file uploads, downloads, metadata exchanges, secure communication, and integration workflow processing.

• Work collaboratively with business partners and technical teams to gather requirements and establish technical solutions.

• Diagnose integration issues and enhance SQL processes.

• Aid in deployment activities.

• Ensure that solutions meet security, privacy, and operational standards.

• Report to the Associate Director, HGB IT Platform and Foundational Services for Humana Military.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• At least 5 years of experience in systems analysis or application programming development.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Visual Studio, ADO Repository, and NuGet package management using C# and .NET.

• Practical experience in building SSIS packages.

• Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

• Familiarity with FTP/SFTP protocols and automation of Windows file systems.

• Must successfully obtain interim approval for government security clearance (NBIS – National Background Investigation Service).

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Candidates residing in Puerto Rico are not eligible for hire.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Knowledge of enterprise data transfer and security compliance is preferred.

• Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload is required for Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees.

• Must have the ability to work from a dedicated space without disruptions to protect PHI/HIPAA information.
